US Glass Fence recently completed this variable height glass railing in Hyannisport, Massachusetts, using the StopBreeze adjustable glass railing system.
We were contracted by Sudbury Design Group to provide a glass windscreen for an outdoor patio where protection from the wind was important, while preserving the property's views and open character.
StopBreeze Variable Height Glass Railing
The StopBreeze variable height glass railing allows the upper glass panels to be raised when additional wind protection is needed and lowered when conditions are calm. This makes the system particularly well suited to exposed patios, terraces and outdoor living areas on Cape Cod.
Unlike a conventional fixed windscreen, StopBreeze gives homeowners the flexibility to adjust the height of the glass depending on the weather while maintaining clear, unobstructed views.
Custom Powder-Coated Posts & Low-Iron Glass
For this Hyannis Port installation, the aluminum posts were custom powder coated in brown to complement the surrounding architecture and landscaping.
We combined the custom posts with Starphire low-iron glass, which significantly reduces the green tint associated with conventional clear glass. The result is exceptional clarity and a railing system that blends naturally into the property rather than dominating the view.
Variable Height Glass Railings for Cape Cod
US Glass Fence supplies and installs StopBreeze variable height glass railings throughout Cape Cod, Massachusetts and the Northeast. These systems are ideal for patios, decks, restaurants, waterfront properties and other outdoor spaces where wind can limit their enjoyment.
