For this project in Darien, CT we worked closely with Odd Job Landscaping. The clients and designers wanted to use stainless steel stand-off posts on the outside of the wall in order to minimize the view of the glass railing. In order to acheive this the Mason’s built the wall using a 12″ wide granite paving stone mounted on edge below the cap stone. This provided us with a nice flat surface to mount the small stand-off posts.
The result is a glass railing that is almost invisible from the upper level and house.
