For this project the client was looking for a black stainless steel railing with glass infills. We used Q-Railing stainless steel square posts and components which were powder coated in black. The railing was fabricated on site and then the glass panels were fabricated and tempered a week or so later.
Fabricating on site for a bespoke project like this is challenging. Every piece has to be custom cut and fitted.
For the outside section the posts and top rail were installed before the deck was tiled. This will ensure the waterproofing integrity of the deck is maintained.
At one end of the deck a 6ft high section of smoked glass was installed for privacy.
