We were comissioned by the home owner for this project. The house is build up and all of the main rooms are on the second floor or above. The deck is therefore a key antertainment space. The owners wanted to install a railing without impeding the view.
We installed a 36″ high frameless glass railing consisting of 1/2″ tempered ‘Starphire’ low iron glass held in place using Q-Railing Stainless steel stand-off posts attached to the side of the deck.
The result is an uninterupted view.
We continued the railing down the stairs and added a handrail for code complience. A gate was also added at the top of the stairs.
