Glass Railings and Handrails Installation at 925 Mix Avenue, Hamden, CT
We were contracted by Franklin Construction, the owners and builders of 925 Mix Avenue in Hamden, CT, to install glass railings and handrails in the entrance lobby of this newly renovated apartment building.
For the glass railings, we used 1/2" tempered Starphire glass with polished edges. The glass panels were installed using Mergelock stainless steel posts, which were core-drilled and cemented into place for a secure, durable installation.
The handrails were fabricated on-site using the Q-Railing Q-Line system. This brushed stainless steel railing system features a 1.5" handrail tube and a variety of fittings designed to secure the handrail to both the wall and the glass panels.
