We were asked to come up with some ideas for this Kingston Rhode Island property owned by a prominent Westchester Builder. The project consisted off a deck area with a stunning water view; a staircase down to the lower level and a small balcony on the top floor.
We decided to use Q-Railing stand-off posts to support the glass and added a 1.5″ Q-Railing stainless steel handrail on the stairs. The top floor balcony was finished with matching components. The owners wanted to have a gate at the top of the stairs so we added a post and used Polaris hinges for a self closing and self latching mechanism.
