Stainless Steel Posts
The foundation of a frameless glass fence is a stainless steel post that securely anchors the glass to the ground. US Glass Fence is the exclusive distributor of Mergelock posts - tested and certified for use as safety railings and pool fences. With no visible screws or fastenings, Mergelock posts are not only attractive but also maintenance-free. Traditional posts use pressure plates and grub screws that look unsightly but can also loosen over time and collect dirt. Our posts ensure both durability and aesthetic appeal.
Tempered Glass
We offer two varieties of tempered glass: regular clear glass, which has a slight green tint, and low iron ‘Starphire’ glass which is crystal clear. Low iron glass is a refined option and typically comes at a higher price. We quote both types to ensure you’re comparing like for like. Additionally, we offer a protective nano coating as an optional extra to keep your glass looking pristine with minimal maintenance.
Gate Latches and Locks
All pool fence gates must be self-closing and self-latching, but we understand that a slamming glass gate can be concerning. That’s why US Glass Fence uses ‘self-closing’ hinges that are also ‘soft-closing,’ ensuring gates close gently without slamming. Our magnetic latches keep the gate securely closed and can be locked if needed. All hardware is made from marine-grade stainless steel for added durability.
